A Tribute to Some Amazing She-Ra Fanart

A Tribute to Some Amazing She-Ra Fanart

Reading Time: 3 minutes

We hope everyone liked our little joke for April Fool’s day! In case you missed it, check it out here.

There’s no shortage of amazing artists in the She-Ra fandom. While waiting for Season 5, they’re the source of much of our SPOP content, so we’ve decided to round up some of our favorite recent artwork in a fanart spotlight! Without further adieu, here are some beautiful works of She-Ra art, in no order of course!

First up is an amazing design by Gianna Rose H. We’ve seen Catra in a suit, so it’s about time Adora caught up! This design perfect captures her androgynous style in the beloved colors of She-Ra. We bet Perfuma made that beautiful corsage. Gianna has a matching piece of Catra artwork, and plenty of other art from various fandoms. Make sure to give them a follow here.

Next we have Susanna Lee, a young artist with an amazingly unique art style. This piece she made with Double Trouble is not only eye-poppingly awesome, but the outfit she designed is so on brand for our favorite shapeshifter. She has lots of other She-Ra art on Twitter and Instagram, so make sure to check her out!

Anyone who was into Life is Strange in its prime will recognize Summer’s art. We, for one, are so glad to see they’re into She-Ra too! This piece captures the Best Friend Squad, plus Catra and Scorpia, in a school AU. Every detail, down to the Naruto shirt and “Hordad Sux” graffiti, encapsulates everything we love about these characters. To see more of their soft style and lots of Catradora, check out their linktr.ee.

In case you’ve been living under a rock (or off of Socials), you may have missed this amazingly cute depiction of the Best Friend Squad + Catra in some chill casual wear done by none other than Noelle Stevenson herself! The picture has taken the fandom by storm, and needless to say, everyone adores this depiction. If you haven’t already, make sure you scroll through Noelle’s Twitter and check out some of her other She-Ra art.

There just aren’t enough She-Ra animations out there. This video by godduma takes a hilarious look at Catra’s season 3 wardrobe change. We love everything about it, from the commentary and goofy expressions, to the beautiful line work! Not to mention they captured everyone’s likeness to a T. They have other awesome animations on their youtube channel, and much more artwork on Twitter, so make sure to subscribe and follow!

You can’t scroll through She-Ra twitter without seeing some of Fuji’s comics. They’re all so good, it was hard to pick just one, but we love the dynamic of the Best Friend Squad here. Adora’s naivete, Glimmer’s confident attitude, and Bow’s common sense are all portrayed so well. For lots more memes (and some serious art here and there) check out their Twitter and Tumblr!

We rarely see any art of Micah, even though he’s such an interesting character with a wild yet loving personality. This tarot card design imagines him as The Star, representing hope and faith. Fey has beautifully depicted Micah on Beast Island, holding out hope that he’ll one day be reunited with his family. This isn’t her only tarot design–she’s made some for Mermista, Swift Wind, Huntara, and more, with a Horde Prime card in the works! You can check them all out on Twitter, and even buy prints here.

Up next is an imagination of Catra as a gorgeous, striped big cat by our very own Jem. We may be a little biased, but you can’t deny how cool she looks in this feral form. Jem has done a wonderful job reimagining the humanoid magicat, and even managed to get the anatomy just right. And those muscles on Adora? *insert chef’s kiss here* To see more of their She-Ra fanart, check out their Twitter.

We adore this artwork of Entrapta and Perfuma by SK Kramer. Both princesses deserve some happiness after everything they’ve been through, so it’s heartwarming to see them hugging and sharing tiny cupcakes! She did such a great job at depicting Entrapta’s prehensile hair and Perfuma’s meditative position, too. Links to all of SK’s social media can be found here, so make sure to take a look at all the amazing She-Ra and other fanart she’s created!

Last, but certainly not least, is a bittersweet piece by Laartsy. None of us are ready to say goodbye to She-Ra yet, but this exquisite painting makes for a beautiful send-off to Catra and Adora. The lighting details and anatomy are spot on, and the powerful pose perfectly befits our heroes. I couldn’t think of a better way to say farewell to the show we all love. For more fanart, check out their Twitter, or visit their website.

Got more fanart you want us to see? We’d love to know about it! Tag us @spopsite on Twitter so we can check it out and promote it!
