Can you believe it’s almost been a year since She-Ra ended? It feels like it was only yesterday that we were all still screaming over Save the Cat and the Catradora kiss! This entire year has been crazy, but we’re glad that there were a few bright spots like this that we can look back on and remember.
This year, since it’s She-Ra‘s first finale anniversary, we knew we had to do something special to celebrate. So special, that we actually have a few things up our sleeves! This just happens to be the first 😉. Because it’s been a rough year on a lot of people, we knew that we wanted to do an event to help give back to as many people as we could while also doing something fun for the fandom.
Hence, we are so happy to introduce: The She-Ra Finale One Year Anniversary Charity Raffle!
What’s a Charity Raffle? We’re glad you asked! Over the past couple of weeks, we have worked together with a variety of beloved artists and merchandise artists who donated a wide array of items to raffle off and raise money for a bunch of different organizations. They have donated jewelry, pins, clothing, custom commissions, and so much more, and we’re so excited for you to see everything come together!
This raffle will be supporting the following organizations:
- The Trevor Project
- The Marsha P. Johnson Foundation
- The LGBTQ+ Freedom Fund
- The National Center for Transgender Equality
- The NYC Anti-Violence project
- Comfort Cases
- #GirlsWhoMigrate
Each of these organizations gives back to underrepresented communities and support the same values that we do, and so this year, we wish to give back to them. We selected these organizations with the help of the amazing artists who donated their items to make this event happen.
Here’s how the Charity Raffle will work:
Anyone may participate, all you have to do is donate to one of the organizations above* and take a screenshot of your receipt (with the date, if possible). Once you do so, fill out this form and select the amount that you donated; the amount determines which tier of items you are eligible to enter the raffle for. Any donation amount is welcome, however, all items have donation minimums set by their artists that correspond to the item’s monetary value if purchased via Etsy or via commission; we’ve separated them into donation tiers for your convenience.
All donations must be made after May 1st for it to be accepted. There will be a prompt asking you to upload your receipt in the entry form; no entries without a receipt will be counted.
You may enter to win as many items within your donation threshold as you would like, however you may only win one item, so make sure you only enter raffles that you would like to win! You may also go back and edit your entry as many times as you’d like before the deadline.
The raffle entry form opens TODAY, May 7th, at 11PM EST. It will close on May 15th at 11:59PM PST. Winners will be randomly drawn on May 16th. If you win, we will contact you via the method you listed in the raffle entry form** and you will have 24 hours to respond. We will then direct you to the artist or merch artist for shipping and delivery.

*If there is an organization or charity that isn’t on our list but you wish to support them, please send us a DM on Twitter or Tumblr so we can take a look and approve it for entry into the raffle. No organizations without prior approval will be accepted.
