Well everyone, we’re finally here. It’s the last She-Ra Eve, which rings a sentiment both exhilarating and bittersweet. We’re so excited to watch the last few episodes tomorrow, but today, we want to take a moment to reflect.
She-Ra is a show that has touched many people’s lives. Its characters and story have won their way into so many people’s hearts, for good reason. As part of our We Must Be Brave event, we asked the She-Ra community on Twitter what the show means to them. The responses that we got in return were so heartfelt, sincere, and touching that we knew we wanted to share it with everyone.
Without further ado, here is what She-Ra and the Princesses of Power means to several different people.

She-Ra became one of my favourite shows from the first few episodes because of the characters and their structure, not to mention the story. As a teenage animator the inspiration this gave me was incredible. That’s why I’m so hyped for Season 5!
#WhatSheRaMeansToMe @spopsite I think @Gingerhazing & the entire crew did something miraculous with the characters & built a beautiful story. I love how imganative & bright the world of Etheria is ✨ I am jealous of all the kids growing up with it b/c I wish I would have

She-Ra is a safe space for me to explore my identity. It is fabulously queer, something I’ve enjoyed already, but never let myself shamelessly celebrate before She-Ra exploded into colours before my face.

#WhatSheRaMeansToMe Friendship and love are more important than power, and the Heart of Etheria literalizes the fact that Adora’s strength comes from her friends. We can do anything if we work together.

It's hard for me to say everything that it means to me. But first of all really feel like I have someone I can relate to. Like, not only me have emotional problems. And that i'm not alone, and have friends that will always support me, and help me feel better.

Well I am a little bit awkard about this, but I think it is a beauty way to thanks Noelle in some point, so I decided to do it.
She ra, for me, is a way to get off of the world; i think it is a show that helps me in certain way, I use it to remember, to +

#WhatSheRaMeansToMe Watching SheRa was the first time I saw a Nonbinary character on a TV screen. I am 28 years old. I can't express enough how much it means to me. Thank you to @JacobTobia for your presence !

This show means more to me than I can put into words. With its diverse group of characters, the absolute stunning rep for the LGBTQA+ community, and a showrunner and cast that deeply love those in this community, I'm so glad I jumped onto this show when I did~ #WhatSheRaMeansToMe pic.twitter.com/7k5yEXqeam

#WhatSheRaMeansToMe She-Ra…well, it's been so much more than I ever could've possibly imagined. It got me to start writing again, and to pursue animation writing specifically. It came at a time in my life when I felt directionless and needed this, more than I knew… (1/11)

She-ra is the first series I've seen complete. She-Ra has helped a lot of people including me. It teaches you to be a better person, never give up and to value your friendships. It's an amazing series and it's always going to have a space in my heart.#WhatSheRaMeansToMe ❤️🌈

#WhatSheRaMeansToMe She-Ra came to me whilst I was going through possibly the hardest time of my life. It's everything I wish I could have had as a kid – female characters who didn't all look exactly the same (10 year-old tomboy me would have instantly been Catra's biggest fan).

#WhatSheRaMeansToMe Where do I even begin? This show is everything I needed and didn't have when I was a young lesbian trying to figure themself out. The representation, the emotion, and the incredible messages SPOP portrays have never failed to amaze me.

how can i put this is words??? she-ra really helped me breathe through hard times and laugh through the good. between amAzing characters and amAzing art, it helped me learn that even though everyone tries so hard to fit in, no one ever fits in and that's ok.
#WhatSheRaMeansToMe She-Ra is a great way to get away from the world. It has an incredible story, awesome visuals, and characters I can relate with and look up to. Not to mention I got to be meet other fans too. It’ll be a bittersweet goodbye, but I’m glad I was there to enjoy it pic.twitter.com/7Vhl9SIAM5

SheRa is the show I wish I could've watched as a little girl, seeing powerful protaganist princesses in a story where they aren't being saved by a man or falling in love with a prince. The princesses are the figures I needed growing up. pic.twitter.com/Vsq4m7y4GZ
Day 12 of #WeMustBeBrave . Today, #WhatSheRaMeansToMe . Thank you She Ra for all the life lessons I learned.@spopsite @Gingerhazing pic.twitter.com/qImU8jnEw8

#WhatSheRaMeansToMe is that it’s okay not to be perfect and that asking other people for help doesn’t automatically make you weaker. If you wanna look after other people, you have to give yourself that courtrsy first. #WeMustBeBrave pic.twitter.com/O6GcmQO6qv
